Dr. Mercedes Quinones is a rheumatologist practicing at the Washington DC VA Medical Center. She received her medical degree from Albany Medical College and completed her residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of Maryland Medical Center, where she stayed to complete her rheumatology fellowship. She is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and Rheumatology and has special interest in identifying and addressing ethnic disparities in rheumatic diseases with a focus on the Latino population.

Dr. Erica McBride is a board-certified rheumatologist practicing at INOVA Health System in Northern Virginia. She is a graduate of Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine and completed her internal medicine residency, chief resident year, and rheumatology fellowship at George Washington University Hospital. Passionate about medical education, Dr. McBride enjoys coordinating and teaching residents from the INOVA internal medicine program during their rheumatology rotation.
Kaitlin Quinn, MD

Dr. Kaitlin Quinn MD is a staff clinician and associate research physician in the NIAMS Vasculitis Translational Research Program. She received her medical degree from New York Medical College. She completed her internal medicine residency training and rheumatology fellowship training at Georgetown University Hospital. She subsequently completed a two-year vasculitis fellowship through the Vasculitis Clinical Research Consortium – Vasculitis Foundation Fellowship Program. She also completed the NIH-Duke Master’s Program in Clinical Research.
